- An employee of the Catholic church told police that an unknown culprit had thrown trash bags into their dumpster, and the church didn’t want to be charged for having an overfilled dumpster. The three bags were brought to the transfer station in Delano which took the bags as a courtesy. The dumpster was no longer overfilled.

- A woman panhandling at a Midway Avenue gas station was asked by police to leave. 9/30 - Police went to Yucca Street where there was some commotion regarding a mother taking her daughter from the address to go to school so as not to be late, waking her father and disturbing others in the process. Dogs were reported to be chasing horses and wildlife in the Sunny Drive area of Electric City. An officer recognized the dogs, knew who the owner was, and yelled at the dogs to go home. The dogs ran off in another direction. Police were unable to contact the owner at the time. The officer’s report noted that, it being the second time the dogs had been reported as chasing other animals, a citation was warranted.

Police checked on the welfare of a Coulee Boulevard apartment resident whose dogs were barking all day, causing concern for the reporting party. An officer didn’t receive an answer at the door of the residence and was advised by a superior to go ahead and enter the unlocked residence to check on the unusual circumstances. Nothing was found amiss. The door was then locked, and police were told by neighbors that the resident had likely gone to Omak.

Reportedly a woman had been throwing rocks at a man’s truck and he held her down to stop her from doing so. Grand Coulee Police handled the case further and forwarded the case to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office. The officer’s report noted that no signs of injury were seen on the man or the woman.

10/4 - Police took note of an incident and collected security footage of it. The footage shows a man trying to look through a fence of a Camas Street residence and say that he’s looking for someone, stating their name.
