- A Grand Coulee man reported that two pumpkins were stolen from his porch. Security footage showed the pumpkins get taken and placed into a white car that was then parked not too far from his own residence. Everyone was happy and no charges were filed.

11/10 - Police found the circumstances strange when a customer was asked to leave a motel on Spokane Way. The customer had requested multiple room changes, complained of temperature issues, including cold tile, requested documents from the motel that simply don’t exist, and generally made the staff uncomfortable. He refused offers to stay one more night in the motel, to have a room paid for at another motel, and courtesy rides from Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam officers who had responded to the situation. No crime was committed. The staff was relieved that the man had left.

11/11 - A woman told police that someone had dumped debris in the Crescent Bay area. She showed police where there was a smashed pumpkin, medium sized. Animals appeared to have eaten from it. There was a bottle of lemonade near him and a torch lighter. He was suspected to have been intoxicated in some way. He was taken to the hospital and released. He was then given a ride home by an officer to a family member’s residence.
