Strange game, season

Most of the boys' basketball game with Liberty Bell Friday night seemed to be going according to norms. Tight competition: it ended regular play going into overtime 46-46.

And that is where the Mountain Lions apparently decided they would score no more.

They kept their score at 46, even as Raiders racked up 60 points.

It's not like Liberty Bell wasn't equal to the task, they just didn't do it. Worse, they continually fouled so LR would head to the free-throw line, racking up the Raider win 60-46.

Yup, strange.

Girls' game

The Lady Raiders pulled off a similar win Friday, 61-40.

That's where normalcy stopped.

With Covid raging through school districts, games with Freeman at LR on Saturday and with Brewster on Tuesday were canceled.

In fact, it's all your writer can do type these words.

Wrestling

The Raiders will host their. big annual Powerhouse

Wrestling Tournament Dec 21, starting at 10 a.m.

Over a couple dozen team have been invited.
