It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanne “Punkin” Marie (Toulou) Pachosa, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, and treasured friend to many. Jeanne passed away December 25, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on October 21, 1953, Jeanne was a proud member of the Colville Confederated Tribes Arrow Lakes Band. She married the love of her life, Jack Anthony Pachosa, on December 26, 1970, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and steadfast faith over their 54 years of marriage.
Known as Punkin by family and friends, Punkin is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Pachosa; son Alvin Nathaniel Pachosa, grandsons Bryce Pachosa, Adam Pachosa, and Brandon Pachosa; great grandchildren Dreama and Christopher; sisters, Melanie (Rouke) vanderVeen, Sandy (Dann) Breidenbach, and Alvina “Chickie” (Pat) Warren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and family members who adore her.
She is reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Alvin and Jeanne Toulou; her son, Christopher Anthony Pachosa; and sister, Dina Nomee.
A family rosary will be held on December 28 at 7:00 p.m at the Nespelem Community Center. Funeral Services to honor Jeanne's life will be held on Sunday, December 29, at. 2:00 p.m. at the Nespelem Community Center. The graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Spokane Valley.
Jeanne’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and faith. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
