Raider Roundup

The Raiders pulled out a one-point win at Waterville Dec. 21, where they met the 1B Neha Bay Red Devils in a holiday tournament.

The 63-62 victory didn’t do much to ease the sting of their next two losses, both at the Reardan tournament Dec. 27-28. Reardan’s Screaming Eagles kept the Raiders down by 12 for a 70-58 loss. Then Manson the next day bested LR by six points, 61-55.

The Raiders, now 6-1, are set to head to White Swan (2-4) for a 3 p.m. game Jan. 4, then meet the 1-7 Bears in Brewster on Tuesday, Jan 7 for a 7:30 p.m. game.

The Lady Raiders won two games at a Moses Lake Christian Academy tournament, besting Odessa (1B) 42-30 Dec. 18, and dominating MLCA the next day 82-38.

Meeting 1A Cascade (Leavenworth) at Waterville Dec. 21 presented bigger challenges. The Kodiaks dominated 56-28.

Last Friday, Dec. 27, they faced a tough Reardan team there, losing 69-14 and to Lakeside (1A) the next afternoon63-46.

LR heads to White Swan Jan. 4 for an afternoon game, then play Brewster Jan. 7, there at 6 p.m.
