Kathleen Proctor passed away on January 2, 2025, at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, WA. She was a resident of Grand Coulee, WA. Born on May 19, 1952, in Heppner, OR, Kathleen was the daughter of William and Ellen (Webb) Conboy. She grew up in a farming family and attended school in Glenwood, WA. Kathleen later attended Blue Mountain Community College and earned her teaching degree from Eastern Oregon University.
On June 24, 1972, she married Gordon Proctor in White Salmon, WA. Kathleen worked as a teacher and Head of the Vocational Department at Pendleton High School in Oregon for four years before moving to Grand Coulee, WA, in 1978, where they raised their three children. She continued her teaching career at Lake Roosevelt High School for 39 years.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Gordon, their three children, Kaycee (Ryan) Ferguson, Shane (Haley) Proctor, and Cody Proctor, and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Conboy, her sister, Lynn Wilkins, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2025, at 1 PM in the fellowship hall at the Coulee Dam Community Church.
