Joseph Allen Beagle

Joseph Allen Beagle passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Ephrata, WA at the age of 93.

Joe was born in Trego Montana to Orla and Dortha Beagle. A graduate of Libby Montana High School, Joe went on to serve in the Air Force April 1955 to May 1960.

Joe worked in the logging industry in California before moving with his family to Electric City WA in 1988. Here, he raised 4 of his 10 children. His days were filled with watching his children in sports, summer camping trips, working, and fishing. Family and friends have many wonderful memories of fishing on the beautiful lakes around Coulee Dam.

Joe had a passion for fishing and sports and a talented green thumb for growing flowers and vegetables. Joe was also known for his sense of humor. He may have invented the "Dad joke."

His family and friends benefited from his fishing and gardening skills. You couldn't leave his house without a bag full of zucchini or talking about how Gonzaga was doing. A surprising fact that not many would know, is that Joe had the most beautiful cursive handwriting. His Granddaughter, Clara, will treasure the letters he wrote her.

Our family was fortunate to have one last hoorah in Libby Montana in July 2024 with Joe. We enjoyed a concert by his nephew, told stories, and enjoyed our time together with family and friends.

Joe is survived by his Partner, Gloria and their dog, Lucky, his children: Donna (Renee), Lana (Kurt), Sandee (Brian), Becky (Nathan), Marjory (Joe), Donnita (Ed), Jamie, Jason, and Justin; His 13 grandchildren; his siblings: Virgie, Nellie, and Bob (Sherry).

He is preceded in death by his parents; Orla and Dortha, daughter; Jodi, and siblings; Bud, Bill, and Ruby.

Per Joe's request, there will be no memorial service. To honor Joe's passing, put a fishing pole in the water and enjoy the beauty around you.
