Staff of Congressman Dan Newhouse will be at Voltage Coffee House in Grand Coulee Tuesday from 11-1 for their "Mobile Office Hours," which "are an opportunity for my staff to engage with constituents on casework issues in parts of the district that do not have convenient access to one of my district offices," Newhouse stated in a Facebook post Monday.
An original poster accompanying the post did not initially include the Grand Coulee meeting in its list of meeting places and so was deleted and replaced. A subsequent poster incorrectly listed the date, so the correct start time is Tuesday, March 25, at 11 a.m., concluding at 1 p.m.
Other locations listed were in East Wenatchee, also Tuesday, from 10 to noon at 1 Pangborn Road East; and Moses Lake on Wednesday, March 26, 10-noon, in the Moses Lake City Council Chambers, 401 S Balsam Street.
Many comments on the Facebook page chided Newhouse for not attending "town hall" meetings last weekend during a break for Congress, something that happened around the nation as people hoped for meetings with representatives in Congress to talk about growing unrest with respect to the Trump administration's attacks on federal agencies and more.
